Jesse posed this question to you:
If you survived a terrible car accident what are the most important / first three things you would do as soon as you could? Another way to ask the question is: what has most thrilled or chilled you recently? Another way to ask is: how do you want your obituary to read?
For me the three things I would do would be 1) call all my immediate family members. So for me that's my mom, dad, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters. 2) I would text all my friends and thank them for being the awesome presence they are in my life. 3) I would probably take the time to sit down at home and really think about what is important in my life and what I need to let go of and move on from to eliminate unnecessary stress in my life.
ReplyDeleteThe three things that I would do would be 1) to thank God for keeping me safe. 2) to call everyone who I care most about (parents, siblings, boyfriend, grandparents-unless my parents beat me to it, and close friends and tell them how much I love them. 3) I would check to make sure anyone else involved in the car accident was okay and do everything I could to help them.
ReplyDeleteIf I survived a terrible car accident the three things I would do is 1) call my family and those who are really close to me (friends) 2) Praise and give thanks to God 3) take it as a life learning experience and to keep in mind that you never know when, if, or how drastically things can change in a heartbeat. So, you should live life to the fullest and appreciate everything that you have.
ReplyDeleteIf i survived a terrible car accident the three things I would do is 1) Call my parents and siblings 2) call my friends and boyfriend 3) Thank God. I would take it as a learning experience to appreciate all of the wonderful people in my life.
ReplyDeleteIf i was in this situation the three things I would do right away are 1.) Check to make sure that no one involved in the accident is hurt and do whatever is neccessary to help them. 2.) I would call my immediate family, tell them that I am alright and not to worry about me. 3.) I would call my girlfriend, explain what all happen, probably crack some stupid jokes, and just be happy that everything worked out in the end.
ReplyDeleteI also would check on the other people involved in the accident. After all, they have a family too and I would feel terrible if something had happened to them. I think it also speaks about a person's character to show concern about the others involved. Some people would only be concern about themself, and that is not the way to be after surviving a terrible accident.
DeleteIf I had been in a car accident and survived, the first three things that I would do would be: 1)Be grateful that I'm alive, 2) Call my immediate family, and 3) Reflect on my life choices.
ReplyDeleteIf I were to be in a terrible care accident and survive, the three things I would do are: 1) thank God I was alright and thanking him for watching over me 2) call my parents, boyfriend and my friends 3) Check on the other involved party to make sure they were alright.
ReplyDeleteI would use this experience to review my life to see if I was really living my life as I desire and spending time with those I love the most.
Tonya, after reading over your answer I feel dumb for not putting "check on the other involved party to make sure they were alright" in mine. I feel dumb because not only should I be concerned about my life but, I should also be concerned for the other people involved in the accident too because they just like me have families and loved ones as well. I also really love how you said that you would use this type of experience to review your life in order to see if you were really living life as you desire because I feel like I would do the same thing with this kind of life changing experience.
DeleteThe first three things I would do as soon as I could would be: 1) I would call all those who are important to me and tell them what happened and that I was alright 2) look at my life and see if that was the way I really wanted to live and make changes as I saw fit 3) be grateful that I have the chance to wake up again and live my life
ReplyDeleteThe first three things that I would do are 1) Make sure everyone is alright and make sure there are police or more specialized personal around to help the situation and thank them. 2) Pray to God that everyone will be okay or thanksgiving for keeping me safe. 3) Call my mom and let her know I am alright. .... This reflects that I really care about those around me and working in the hospital I have a deep appreciation for police/ems/firemen etc. Also, keeping a good faith is always important. Lastly, my family is important to me my mother in particular and she is always the first person I call
ReplyDeleteIf I survived a terrible car accident I would 1.) Call my family, obviously, so they know I'm ok. 2.) Stay out of the way of any medical personal that are on the scene. Then I can't honestly say there is anything so important I have to do right after the accident.
ReplyDeleteIf you survived a terrible car accident what are the most important / first three things you would do as soon as you could?
ReplyDeleteThe first thing I would do is check to see if anyone else was injured and if they were okay and then call 911, second I would call my family (mom, dad, sister), and let them know what happened and that I am okay and to come to the place of the accident and help me and third, I would pray to God for keeping me safe and for being there to protect me from the accident and for keeping me alive another day.
The first three things I would do if I were to survive a terrible car accident would be:
ReplyDelete1.) Make sure no one else was injured from the accident
2.) Call 911 and inform them of the crash
3.) Call my mom and dad to let them know what happened and that I'm okay
I would first call 911 to come to the scene. 2. Call my family 3.) Call my best friends tell em what happened and that I love them. My family and friends are most important to me. I would want my obituary to read something along the lines of was a great friend, type of person to do anything for close friends and family, lived passionately and for others.
ReplyDeleteThe first thing I would do is call 911. The next thing I would do is call my family because they are the most important people in my life. I would then say a prayer to God thanking him for protecting me. After this experience I would evaluate what I had accomplished in my life so far, and what I want to be sure to accomplish, because every day and moment is precious.
ReplyDeleteIf I were to get in an accident and be fortunate enough to survive, the first three things I would do are:
ReplyDelete1) Thank God for protecting me and giving me more time to spend with my loved ones.
2) Call my parents, my brothers, and all of my closest friends to let them know what happened, that I'm alright, and that I'm thankful to have them in my life.
3) Plan to do something that's on my bucket list sooner, rather than later. We can never be sure how much time we have left in our earthly lives, and we shouldn't take one day for granted.
